The way I understand it, which is not worth a lot, is that Yorkies don't have an undercoat, and when dogs shed, it is that undercoat that they shed. So, if you were to split her hair and see skin (with out really pulling, like just splitting it apart) then I would think she inherited the Yorkie coat and you shouldn't have to worry. My Yorkie has pretty brittle hair that breaks off she leaves hair everywhere. Through recommendations on this site, I have changed her food and she is already doing much better. |
