My wonderful little Jockey has the bad habit of chewing on my wicker chair, my door frames & my cabinets.
Unfortunately he gets Derby doing it as well. At what point does a puppy stop chewing on furniture? He is now almost 10 months old and has a myriad of different chewy sticks, toys and such that I rotate out for the two of them every couple of days. The majority of the time, my pups are with me but when I do have to leave them at home for a bit...the furniture destruction begins. And of course I know that it is just furniture but it is still a behavior that I would like to have stop. I have used the Bitter Apple spray but it wears off after a couple of hours or so and they are back at it.
Any tips or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
