Did your vet do a thyroid panel to make sure he doesn't have a thyroid imbalance? That can cause hair loss.

The rescue lady just said that "the vet did tests" to make sure his hair loss was not due to any other physical condition, and they said it was due to flea infestation. Would the vet paperwork the rescue give me specificially say "thyroid panel"? The only test I see is Heartworm test. I do see where they gave him Cephalexin for 10 days....not sure what that is for?
