At the moment she is eating Royal Canin puppy 33. My friend told me to change it to Science that is what she feeds her dog.

Science Diet is no better than Royal Canin, so I wouldn't switch to that. You should be feeding the reccommended amount on the side of the bag. Yes, they do get used to food so having some variety is good.
