I breed mine twice and than retire (about 4 yrs old), but thats just me personally. I do know other breeders that will breed at least 3 times and retire at 5 - 6 yrs old. Mine are all pets, after retirement they get spayed. I feel anymore than that is just too much for their bodies. In my own opinion!!!
