well i can tell you this...Smokey wears them 24/7......we tried one day to go without the band...and he would pee and mark every where....so back on it went....so Smokey wears them no matter what...if he has been wearing them for more than 2 hours a day for years...chances are you will have to keep them on him 24/7..............but that's ok...at least with them on you dont have to worry about the walls, funiture, floor...etc.........good luck with what ever you decide to do
