Ok, I was at this mom and pop italian restaurant that hubby and I like to go for our Saturday night dates. Our table was kinda next to a couple with a young kid, I'd say seven maybe eight year old kid. ( honestly, I like kids, but I'm happy I don't have any, in other words, I love my nieces, they are my girls and I spoiled them so much, but I'm happy that they get to go to their home at the end of the day)
Well, this kid would like at me sometimes and of course I'd smile to him, but I was so into the conversation I was having with hubby that I didn't pay too much attention. All of the sudden I see his mom coming to our table and apologzing if we were offended by what was going to happen. I was puzzle so was my husband, then the kid gets up the chair and comes to me and tells me, I think you are so pretty, so I drew you, he then gives me a drawing of myself with the pink sweater I was wearing and my ponytail and a smile, then on the back of the piece of paper where he had drawn me he drew Rudolph the red nose reindeer and he added, I drew Rudoplh because is the holiday season and I thouhgt of something nice to draw on the back of your picture....
Honestly, i thought that was sooo nice and touching, my husband and me were in shock! i didn't know what to say, but just to thank him and tell him how nice of him it was to have such a gesture like that for someone he's only seen once in his life. His mom and dad were kinda rthe background looking at us. It really touched me!
Kids can be very unpredictable sometimes....
I put the drawing on my fridge. I forgot to ask the kid his name.
