Default Thank you

Thank you for all your kind words.
This is so hard. Zani was really a one of a kind puppy; smart and sweet and spunky, but so mellow. She was almost 18 weeks old, and weighed 1.8 pounds, and she ruled the world.

She found a piece of candy someone had dropped, apparently under the couch. We saw her with something in her mouth, and when we got her, it was wedged deep in her throat. I was unable to get it out, and my daughter and I raced to the vet, who is very close by, but Zani went unconscious in the car. The vet was able to intubate her, but it was too late.

We are all grieving, my husband and I, our three children, and two older Yorkies. I have never lost a pup before, and I am truly devastated.

My only, ONLY consolation is that Zani was deeply loved and very, very happy while she was with us for the two short months she was here in our home.

I am so sad.
