Yes, it is sad. I have been watching our back yard for awhile now. This past Spring, we seen a coyote in our neighbors back yard.... and we live in a SUBDIVISION just on the outskirts of town!!
It was by itself and appeared to have an arrow that was broken off in it's hip. So it was probably separated from its pack due to it's injury. It disappeared before we could call someone to come out. Thank-goodness we haven't seen it since.
