I too have rescue and I'm not offended. You are sooo right about rescues if you are looking for a show "yorkie" (the look that everyone thinks of when you say Yorkie) well maybe a rescue is not your thing. You can't pick the look you would like, as if you went to a breeder. It does take a long time to get a yorkie from a rescue to "look like a yorkie" Ivy is now on the way and it's been a little over 5 months. Also she is slow in coming out of her shell you don't know what kind of life they came from. My poor Ivy lived in a cage for 5 years having babies for all of the pet stores. So please STAY AWAY from pet stores, and maybe you need to look for a breeder. Good luck you will find your baby.
