 I sympathise
I really sympathise with you - my lil Lucy is booked in on Jan 5th to be spayed, and I'm just as worried as you. I know, in my 'rational head', that everything should be fine - but I can't help being anxious.
I've bought some onesies (pretty pink ones, to make her feel better), rather than having her wear a collar, and have read up quite a lot on the op / post-op stuff. But I'm her mummy and she's my baby, so it'll be hard to be without her overnight (my vet likes to keep little ones in for at least 24 hours) - and it'll also be hard to see her drowsy and feeling sorry for herself. |
