I am also in rescue and am not offended. I just don't want people to think there is not potential. You are right that they normally come to rescue pretty beat up...it is tragic what happens to some of them. People obtain them for all the wrong reasons and fail to care for them properly as you well know. Such a throwaway society we live in.
