I haven't had this problem in awhile now (thankfully), but when I'm worried my boy hasn't eaten enough, I have some special ice cubes made up. He LOVES ice cubes SOOOO much!

To make them, I halfway crush up some of his normal kibble, so that there's some powder and some whole pieces in there still. I use this to fill up the ice cube tray, then pour water over all of it. I figure the kibble cubes, as I like to call them, won't mess up his digestion because it's just his regular food with water, after all. But it sure does make eating (and drinking!) a lot more fun and exciting for him if he's not really into it otherwise.
