Best to stay with what they normally eat
Changing it will only make matters worse

if you wanna make sure that he's at least getting nutrition when he doesn't eat
grab a tube of Nutri-Cal
or another supplement
THAT I know he won't turn down
My puppies LIVE for that stuff |
he's usually not fussy with food he's a fatty

, I always have Nutri-Cal on hand, that was a great suggestion though as many people don't know to have it. You know right now I did notice his growth rate has come to a STOP or at least an EXTREME SLOW.. he is no longer growing like he was, he has thinned out as well. I think his food requirements might be slowing down and he doesn't need as much as he did before as he is no longer growing rapidly. I know ALL yorkies grow at different rates, I think his was just really quick and now it is SLOW TO NOTHING so he needs less food. He did end up eating when I went out to dinner for an hour it was just after about 1.5 hours of play I think he worked an appetite up

White rice is fine.
Boneless skinless chicken breast without seasonings or fat is fine.
I bake it usually but you can boil it.
Green beans, peeled and cooked potato or sweet potato and plain yogurt is also fine. Canned food may entice him also which would be better because if you homecook long-term, you will need to add vitamins.

Thanks for the wonderful suggestions! I need to know this information, I think it's great to know what to feed rather than trial and error. These guys are too tiny and fragile to play roulette with! Thanks Ellie May you are always such a great help for Gucci and I ! He ate about a total of 1/2 cup today I think he is just growing slower and is in turn eating less.
