We, too, use a Snoozer carseat for Shelby & Seymour. It really helped Shelby as far as her getting nervous. Now she (and Seymour) are secured in harnesses and "buckled" in AND they can see out the window.
We also learned from Shelby's Physical therapy doctor (when she had LP surgery) that by rubbing a drip of pure lavendar oil between your fingers and then rubbing the tips of their ears helps with calming them. (We got the lavendar oil from GNC and it is ALL natural). The smell of the lavendar is all it took for Shelby when she went to therapy......
