Even the day after Christmas I get a surprise, but from mother nature. I wake up in sunny Los Angeles with not a cloud in sight and the sun as bright as ever. Big difference from yesterday's gloominess. Since I'm staying with my parents until the new quarter starts I have to get back into my old routine, which includes having to move my car at 7:30 each morning.
I cross the street to the parking lot where my car is sitting, turn it on, and since my car is wet from yesterdays rain I try using the winshield wippers to clean off the rain. Here is where the surprise comes in, it's not water but
ICE!!!!
My brothers' cars are parked just across the street from my car and are hardly damp! My car and my dad's truck are completely covered in ice and I had to have my dad help me navigate my car this morning. I don't know what happened but it was shocking to me! This has never and I mean never happened before. ICE????????
