I truly am sorry that you were treated so badly for just being a true friend. Your friend is fortunate to have you looking out for her. Just because she is 97 doesn't mean that she needs to suffer. I feel sorry for this POA in a way, because one day he will be in her shoes and praying that someone will show him as much compassion as you have shown your friend. God help him. Praying for your friend's health and that God will give you the peace you deserve for being a friend.
