Neither my mom or I have attempted to clip a dogs nails before. We are both too nervous about it. But I would like to start doing it myself because her nails grow like weeds and Its hard to get an appointment with her froomer, or any groomer for that matter. Does anybody have any advice for me as to how to go about it? Because yorkies have black nails, its hard to see the quick, and that is nerve wrecking in itself. Anything i could do to ensure a sfe cut? Any recommended tools for the clipping? My cousin has the pedipaw but keely is afraid of it so getting one of those machines is out of the question.
