I use the disposable potty pads. I change her pads atleast 4/5 times a day and I flush any poo's down the toilet. In the back area of the house I have another pad holder near our mudroom but she hardly ever uses it , she really only uses the one in the family room.

At night she gets two fresh ones in her pen and I toss them in the morning . I use the odor blocker pee pads and we have never had a problem with odor. My dh can smell anything and he would complain if he could smell anything so I make sure to change them often , I don't want my home to smell she also doesn't seem to like to go on it after more than 1-2 small pees So I toss it. ( We have a can out back and the trash gets taken daily so no smell )

I thought about washable , but this seems to be working for now. I also use a sturdy raised potty pad holder which helps her keep her pee in the middle of the pad . She would go towards the edge before we got the raised holder.
