Hi to you and Sammie!! Welcome to YT. My little girls Fifi and Lulu were too hyper at that age. I used to play with them until they tire. Then I would get an hour or two of peaceful sleep!!! and for toilet training I made sure after every meal time I would take them straight outdoors, they soon got the hang of it.
