Bentley had an odor coming from his ears and would scratch his ears a lot. I took him to the vet and they found that he had a yeast infection in his ears! They gave me a cleaner that I had to use to clean his ears everyday...he didn't like it at all. But now, I just have to clean his ears twice/week as precautionary (the yeast infection is gone) and he is used to the cleaning. They also told me to not get water in his ears while bathing him and to put cotton balls in his ears when bathing him just in case. Also, make sure the water he is drinking is fresh and clean everyday. Hope this helps.
