Any recommendations for a favourite, proven vet for your yorkie(s) in the Greater Vancouver area? I've gone to Atlas Animal Hospital for years as well as the one on Cambie and 2nd (?) the police dogs, etc, go to with my previous two and my cat. For various reasons, I don't want to use Atlas anymore (though I actually like Dr. Buellar (sp), just not pretty much everything else and what it's become over the years). My cat's been switched over to a feline hospital while my yorkie has been going to the breeder recommended vet/associates except for the dental work. I made what might have been the mistake of going to one much further out in Guildford that was highly recommended by my baby's puppyclassmate's parents and seeing as how their tiny little yorkie survived his operation, I thought the vet should be a safe bet for my girl who was 2-3 times his size
... Well, now I have a few reasons why I would not go back there again.
I'm very much tempted to ask healthy happy aged yorkies' owners which vet they use whenever I meet one... and I just might but thought I'd try on here first.
It's either that or go by a general vet review site I've come upon online. Better/longer business hours would be great too.
