I bought a 5 1/2 month old biewer girl on November 20th. The lady I bought her from had a few different pups running around and had pee pads down, but, of course, she wasn't right with them all the time. When I got mine, she peed on my carpet a few times, now, I've had her 1 mo. and she's 100% housebroken! The way I do it was I would let her pee on my carpet(heck, it's already ruined anyway), but, the pads are down in 2 places. As soon as I saw her peeing, I would put her nose down by it and tell her NO you pee on the paper, and then took her to the pad. she is very smart and learned very quickly. I have the 2 down, and one down in the pen I was keeping her in. She actually does go in the pen occasionally and uses that one too |
