Confused Bailey is 11+

I kept thinking Bailey would top out around 9 lbs. Then 10. Now he is around 11 lbs and I think that is it. We watch his diet and actually started feeding him "old dog" food even though he is does not fall into the Old nor is he a dog. People keep telling me he IS a dog but they don't know Yorkies fall into a completely different category.... something closer to "kids" (which are neither human or beast)

The reason for the "old dog" food is it is lower in fat and we mix a little of the canned with low-fat dry. We completely stopped feeding him from the table. He was exhibiting symptoms of pancreatitis (throwing up and generally not feeling well) As soon as we stopped the table food the symptoms went away. He eats a super premium canned + dry.

So, having given up on the mini version we are more than happy with our 4 year old big guy. Way more to love.

bye all,

samc and Bailey
