Default Winter

It will be Buddy's first winter and am looking forward to winter and fall. He loves chewing on leaves and when they fall from the trees now he gets so excited like "treats falling from the sky". He loves chasing them in the wind too. He also loves to sjust sit on the deck and blow in the wind, especially now since the air is getting cooler in Nova Scotia. After our hot summer, he's really perking up in the cooler weather. I can't wait to see his reaction to snow. Ive' heard you should try to get your puppy to walk on grass lawns and avoid the salt on the road. You can put some vaseline on their pads before they go out and rinse their feet to get rid of vaseline and any salt when you return. A warm blanket sounds nice but make sure the Bounce sheet doesn't stick to the blanket. I've heard (truth or not?) there is something bad in the sheets if your puppy should chew on them.
