Another silly question... what do you do with them once changed... My garbage area is down at the other side of the building so I could take it down there once a day.

My babies use the pee pad and poo on it also. I don't smell it and I change every few days. My dogs are small and it is too cold for them. However I still let them out so that they learn to go outside also.
My puppy is only inside for now till the weather gets better. He is doing really well on the pee pads and the others learn from him...
