I have in the past used human hair shampoos and conditioners, many of them have worked much better than ones formulated for dogs. I have heard baby shampoos are very drying for a yorkie coat, so I use it only for the area around their eyes.
Some will tell you not to use human products because of the differences in ph for dogs and humans. I never experienced any problems though, even with long term use.
