Keep in mind that your baby's coat will naturally get thicker during cold weather. Don't ask me how their bodies know, but they do. So don't worry TOO much about the sweaters.
It doesn't get freezing cold much in NC, but it occasionally snows. That's really the only time Jewel wears her sweaters b/c otherwise, her coat is thick enough for the weather.
