Yeast infections can go away sometimes without treatment, she might have been getting one, but was fighting it off herself, and then the antibodics threw her system off.
Since I'm not a vet, they might want to see her. You could just mention the name Nancy1999, and see if that helps.
Seriously, he might want to rule out other things, such as anal glands that need to be expressed, sometime this can cause a fishy odor as well.
