We were at the vet today
She has a bladder stone. I am just in shock. I never expected this at all. I'm just sitting here, not really knowing which way to turn.
He put her on a perscription diet called Royal Canin Urinary SO to try and dissolve the stone.
Right now, I can't even remember what type of stone it is. When I seem this big ole stone in my babies xray...everything is blank from then on
All i know it is the type that can dissolve from a diet.
We go back Jan 2 with another urine sample and based on how she is doing we will determine if surgery will be done. He has also put her on Baytril for 30 days.
Does anyone know anything about this food????? Experienced bladder stones??? I will be doing my share of research thats for sure.
And then I free feed everyone, I have no idea how I'm going to do this
Please say a prayer this stone will dissolve with the diet
