Thank you for the reply. I bought better clippers. It seems that the OsterPro clippers are not professional ones, despite the name. It did not accommodate the universal clipper blades. I bought an Oster PowerMax and a professional comb set. And if I need to I can by some different blades later on. I chose the PowerMax because it was about half the weight of the A5. I haven't tried it yet - still waiting for shipping. I did get the comb set though and they are very different from the cheap combs that came with the OsterPro set. The comb teeth are a lot closer together, stiffer, and tapered, so I'm guessing they, along with the better clipper, will work a whole lot better.
