You could get him and if it winds up that he was stolen, I am sure the original owners would gladly refund you (I know I would) - BUT - if he is just in need of a Good Home, then give it to him
...someone is going to grab him for $125 and they might be horrible to him
Think of it as you 'adopted' him from a shelter...
