We didn't fight but I was always resistant to getting a dog. So we talked alot about the "pros" of dog ownership

My kids and dh wanted one very bad. So when I finally caved in it was with the distinct understanding that it was "THEIR" dog. I would help potty train to avoid accidents in the house....but the feeding ,walking, and playing with "it" was all on them.
After week one or so I was sooo in love with that stinkin' little pup that I did as much as I could for her. Sydney is a very loving dog and she has a different bond with us all. She loves to play and run with the boys , she loves to lay with me at night when everyone else is asleep and watch t.v or listen to music.
BUT personally I think above all she is a daddy's girl. She knows when he is home before we do , and just loves him to pieces. I think while she loves us all , she loves him most or just knows he is "pack leader: or something.
Chloe is really more of a Mama's girl. She will follow me and whine if I try to leave the room . But she still loves to snuggle up on his chest at night and he loves it. He is always bringing them home special treats and surprises , so he takes his roll as "dad" to the girls seriously
We never fight about them...Well except he wants another dog and I feel I can only handle two , so he is trying to wear me down.
