It is true with just about everything now days. If you go into Petsmart it state your pet must be leashed and supervised. Many years ago when my son (now 20) was about 8 or so we were in Petsmart. There was a man with a Doberman that Drew walked up to and looked into his eyes. The dog LUNGED at him! I grabbed him and pulled him backward and out of the dogs reach. This was a 2 way problem IMO since the owner should have known better and my son should never have done something like that but he was use to my sister's dobie and that was how they played. Another time at the same store, there was a "pet owner" that had his pit with him. He was walking around the store and encouraging agressive behavior by his dog! What a fool! I'll never forget it since there was a puppy obedience class going on and the guy was letting his dog lunge and barkand growl at everyone. We left because I was so upset and fearful that this dog would attack at any minute.

I love service dogs! They are just amazing the way they are so focused on their job! They are a very elite group that make it into service.
It isn't even not liking dogs but they have a FEAR of dog, whether they are big or small so people are deathly afraid of dog.
