 Crate training question
We have decided to crate train Krissy. I do work but my husband works shift so there are only 2-3 days a week she will be in the boy's bathroom with paper that up until this point she has done great with.
I just got tired of watching her every moment and my brother in law suggested the crate training. So far she has done great and we are even doing it at night and only have to get up once. She is 3 months old.
How long does it take for it to click to them that they have to go outside? I know everyone is different and that it may take longer because of the days she is in the bathroom. I have house trained dogs before but it has been awhile and I don't remember.
I am off the next two weeks and we are only traveling 2 days and taking Krissy. I hope to make some progress.
I know that i am asking questions that could have numerous answers but that is what I want to hear.
