I brought Cassi to the vet the other day, and to my dismay the Vet said she has a grade 2/3 LP on her left leg and a grade 3 LP on her right. I guess I was a bit surprised, b/c she never showed any signs of pain or issues with her legs. She runs, jumps, walks, goes up/down the stairs without ever having any issues.

In any case, the vet said I could wait to have the surgery later and to keep a close eye on her. In the meantime, I am definitely going to take her to see an orthopaedic surgeon for a 2nd opinion in May (when she's due for her annual physical check-up) at the Animal Medical Center in NYC.

So I've done alot reading on YT forum, but still have some additional question which I hope you might be able to assist with. Thanks in advance for your input.

So here are my list of questions:

1) Which joint supplement would you recommend (Cosequin or Synovi or other brand)?
2) How early should they start using this joint supplement (i.e., at what age, she's going to be 1 yrs old on 12/24)?
3) How many capsules do you give per day for a furbaby weighing at 4.4 lbs?
4) If they have bilateral LP...from your experience do you think it's best to have bilateral surgery for the LP?
