I made sure Siri had all her shots before I took her anywhere. You can catch diseases anywhere, things can be carried on a persons shoe and transfered anywhere. It was hard to always leave Suri at home but I knew she was safe and waiting a few weeks for that peace of mind was worth it.
(my vet spaced all her shots 4 weeks apart, so it felt like forever!
