I don't mean Yorkies act like cats, far from it, but just this trait of being eager to please, and it being a trait useful in training. They still greet you at the door wildly enthusiastic, something a cat would never do. I think of them as more complex than most dogs, but every bit as fun, and more of a challenge. I wonder if the dog could have any health related problems or food allergies. I wish I had some better suggestions for his mopiness. Do you think there could be any abuse in his background?
