I don't think 8 months is to young. I have two dogs , but we waited years to get our second. Syd is 3 years and Chloe is 8 months and we just got her 4 months ago.
I really wish we would have done it sooner . It seemed Sydney had " only child" syndrome for a while. They get along now ,but sometimes I see Syd lift her paw up over Chloe and I can almost hear her saying...I am so gonna slap the crap out of you.... Sisters
