and sorry if i didn't explained myself well, but teddy comes with me when i go to my mothers house so i am with teddy all day long and i don't own a crate but if ya say it's the best way to potty train him then i will go and buy him a crate. The reason i dont take him out to walk him is because teddy hasn't gotten his shot yet. I am going to take him next week to get his 1st shots. But thanks and i will go try everything ....... |
At his age he should never be in a crate more than 3-4 hours. I'm totally against crates, always have been, but, do believe in the xpens. If you want, you could get a crate and leave the door open on it and put it in an xpen, but, I feel a puppy has so much energy, they need to be able to move around and play, and that's why I've always used xpens. You can put a bed, pee pad, water, food and toys in there, and it's so much nicer than keeping them in a little crate.
