one thing about puppies especially Yorkies is that they cant be an impulse purchase. the idea of kids and a puppy is great, but as you can see there are alot of things that arent so sweet.
I would say crating will help you with the potty training. I would recomment the books "How to House break your dog in 7 days" it does take more..lol.. but beingon a schedule is important for puppies. the other book is Yorkies for dummies.. you should really know everything about your dog.
As for humping, my boy got neutured at 10 weeks so he has totally skipped the humping phase. so you might want to get that done asap.
I suggest lots of reading and a schedule that works for himand the family... and you have to understand he is a pup! it will take time..LOTS AND LOTS OF TIME!!!
