 Gracie is due Christmas Day as well---
We'll be home with her continuously. She's a big, rugged girl but first litter had big pups whelped in hospital because we got nervous about her labor seeming long and non-productive. Vet gave her a shot of oxytocin and four healthy puppies soon followed, but it was a long night of sitting on the examining room floor. I just noticed we're expecting a storm that day and hoping we can avoid that trip to emergency hospital. |
