  LOL I totally keep shoes by the door just for that.  We use flexi's to let them out because we can't have a fence (stupid association) and I do NOT trust them off leash.  So they always get stuck and I have to go save them.
Last night our pretty 6 inches of snow turned into a gigantic sheet of ICE.  What does sammy do? She goes out and stands on top of a shrub that is completely encased in ice.  She must have been amazed at what she could see from there!
