Careful... this isn't a phase and needs to be addressed because it will get worse not better with time
I had a dog in the past who couldn't be brushed at all unless it was with a groomer
which made life miserable with him
your dog should never bite or attempt to bite you ever....
you need to make him realize that brushing and grooming is a normal and pleasurable experience
sit him down and brush him .... praise him and talk to him calmly make sure you do it softly and massage and pet him at the sametime
if he goes to bite .... AH! and to the floor .... shows over
start again in a little bit
keep doing this until he gets it that brushing is not threatening and is pleasurable
