It not only gets you ready for the litter, but every question I had concerning the mum before whelping, the actual whelping, caring for the newborns, etc. was answered in great detail. The book was loaned to me with page corners turned down, yellow stickies, passages underlined, passages highlighted, passages underlined and highlighted, etc. I wrote down several of the recipes and steps for "what to do if..." before I returned the book and have referred to them with each of our two subsequent litters. I simply can't wait to have my own copy finally.

PS I sent an e-mail to my friend today to make sure she knew it was out again and she just replied letting me know it had been out for about a year. So, again, I'm one of the last to know!!!
