I find that mine only shiver when it first starts to get cold. When we go from 70 to 45 in a single day here (gotta love Chicago) they have a hard time adjusting. Once we get cold and stay cold for weeks they are fine. Today they fought me on wearing just T-shirts. At this point we only bundle them when we go out in the car and if I take them out to spend more time outside than just peeing. We got 6 inches of snow last week and it's consistently been 15 degrees and I still have to drag them back inside - they go out to eat the snow!
