Hi there,
I am a new pet owner and lucky enough to have gotten a 4lb Yorkie (3 years old). I need to leave the state for 3 weeks for a job training and I recently moved to a new area. I have a friend who state she would be willing to take my little girl in for the 3 weeks. However, she has 2 cats and her boyfriend has a pit bull puppy who he frequently brings to her residence.
I don't know too much about pets, dogs or cats, and I am concerned if my little girl will be okay with them. I am more afraid that the cats may attack her or even the puppy pit bull. My girl is only 4lbs and as you know the smaller they are, the more fragile. Do you think this is a safe environment for her? Any thoughts or suggestions? I think I may just be overprotective, but I wanted to know what other yorkie owners think.
