Hey Tammy! Yes mam I sure did cut her coat!
I cut it on Nov. 5th and I just about DIED when I did it, lol. I am already letting it grow back though
I HAD to cut it because with the grass outside being dormant, she was dragging soooo much dead brown grass in my house and I would have to go over my floors literally about 7 or 8 times a day
It just got to be WAY too much. Plus, all that grass was getting STUCK in her hair and tangled because her hair was so long and was touching the ground. I just had to cut it....
I won't again though. I am going to let it grow back out and then when next year rolls around I will probably just trim it up so that it isn't as long and isn't touching the grass when she goes outside
She just has such a gorgeous silky coat and it made me SICK cutting it
I want it back!! lol. It IS easier though...yes....but honestly her coat is so simple to take care of and doesn't matt or tangle easily, so I don't mine it at all
It's actually relaxing to me lol.
I will give her big hugs for you girl!
