Oh you are dead on about that. I had to save for mine too. I don't have $1000.00 at a moments notice to spend on what you could consider an 'indulgence' for lack of better term. A dog, a car, a vacation, those are things that I have to plan and save for accordingly. So I'm right there with ya!
And yes there are some that ARE way too much...but then again, those aren't exactly the kinds of breeders you'd want to be dealing with.
