Oh yes, I had a nice cushion and blanket, if the crate is small enough, they will not pee in it, and that's the whole idea of crate training. The crate should be just big enough to stand up in and turn around in. Some people make them smaller with wire petitions and others use boxes. If your dog pees on the blanket, use an enzyme cleaner to get all the urine smell out. Otherwise, it will think it's ok to pee on the blanket and be attracted to it.
